Possible: It is possible for you to have 2 medical problems that require surgery (and therefore general anesthesia) and have a general anesthetic for both. However, you must talk to your surgeons about them and have them both schedule to do surgery. Another consideration is how much pain will you have afterwards, an assessment that can only be made by your surgeons.

Sometimes...: It depends on what they are...If you are in a car accident and rupture your spleen and break your leg, they will take care of your spleen first and bring you back to fix your leg. Sometimes you can arrange to have two different elective procedures done at the same time....have your gall bladder removed and your carpal tunnel fixed. Requires coordination and cooperation of all involved.
