I have got upper gi endoscopy done which revealed nodularity at ge junction doc seemed concerned ...is there a higher probability for it to be cancer?

Pathology results: It really depends on what the biopsies show. The biopsy can usually show whether there is cancer or precancerous lesions. Pathology can take a week to be officially returned. Talk to your doctor and ask them to be clear.

Ask your doctor: The doctor who did your endoscopy can guide you further. Any nodularity can be a cause for concern. The doctor may have done a biopsy of this area of abnormality....This might reveal the answer to your question. If there is no clear answers right now, your doctor may elect to repeat endoscopy in a few months to follow up on this area of concern.

Visual means: Very little. A biopsy is necessary. Endoscopc ultrasound further characterizes depth is a tuomr and nodes if any, your age is in your favor.
