Lifestyle: The dietary and habit changes help reflux more than meds do alone. Try avoiding late-night snacking as well as making sure you have a balanced, plant-oriented diet with as little caffeine as reasonable. Talk to an ENT about other means to control the sensation after giving the meds ~6 weeks total.
