My last period 12nov.12 a.m./on 12 dec.7 p.m.took home pregnancy test, it was negative, but today14 dec. and i have no period yet.can the test be wrong?

Preg tests: Usually the urine pregnancy tests do not show a positive until about 5 days after the missed menstrual period. If you test to early in a pregnancy the test will be neg. Start testing 5 days after a missed period.
