Pregnant?: If the "blood test" was for HCG, and was negative, wait for another week and do the serum test again. Sometimes pregnancy can occur outside the uterus (ectopic), so if bleeding starts, still obtain the test, and if positive see your ob/gyn provider for an exam and possible ultrasound.
