Unusual : I frequently use Prednisone to treat hives and don't recall having seen that happen. Could be stress.... People are often stressed when they get hives. Probably nothing serious but best to see a dermatologist.

See doctor: Your hives may well be related to an autoimmune disorder which causes your hair to fall off as well. Consult an allergist.
