Early pregnancy: The levels of the HCG levels may be normal and the spotting may be related to implantation or just vaginal irritation after the progesterone. If you are not having any heavy bleeding, then repeating the ultrasound in 1 - 2 weeks will let you know definitively what is going on. Still, if any of the other symptoms occur, you should see your doctor.
