Urethritis: Go back and see the doctor who treated you and have them re-examine you and the discharge. If they are not expert in this area you may want to see a urologist or in the alternative, an infectious diseases doctor. Go soon and good luck.

Ineffective Meds: I am sorry to report but you very well may have been mis-treated. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is no longer an effective choice for possible gonorrhea treatment. There is a drug resistant gonorrhea now spreading through the western world and patients must be treated with an injection of Ceftriaxone now for this symptom and this infection.
