COUGH:: Prolong, bad cough needs evaluation. Causes: weather change, dry cold air, nasal stuffiness with nasal blockage, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, asthma, viral illness, bronchitis/bronchiloitis, allergies, cigarette smoke, strong odor, etc. Etc. Keep room temperature 68-70 f, use humidifier in the room, use saline nasal drop and such mucous with bulb syringe, etc. Check with his pediatrician.
