I have had 2 colposcopies showing low grade dysplasia. i am due for another colposcopie soon but want an iud. can i have one before the my colposcopie?

Yes: Deciding to place an iud should have no effect on management of your abnormal pap smear. At the present, careful surveillance (as you are undergoing) for low grade dysplasia is the most reasonable approach. An std screen (which you probably already have had) is appropriate prior to placement of an iud.
