HIV is Hard to Get: I am a bit surprised by this question. It seems like this information is widely available and taught in most health classes. But, HIV is a virus. If you have any behavior like sharing needles when using drugs or have a sexual encounter with an infected person then the virus is 'easy' to get. Hiv testing can be accurate with the right test 21 days after exposure. The old test is six months.
