Very rare: HIV transmission by oral sex is very rare. One estimate is that if one partner has HIV, penile to oral averages one transmission for every 10,000 events, 1 in 20,000 oral to penis. These are equivalent to giving or receiving BJs by infected partners once once a day for 27 and 55 years before transmission might be expected. Transmission by cunnilingus (oral-vaginal) probably is even more uncommon.
