A member asked:

Can anxiety or the drug mirtazapine cause gas to 'gurgle' up the throat (without causing an actual belch?)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anxiety not Remeron (mirtazapine): Anxiety can cause air swallowing and then the air can gurgle back up your throat. This is not caused by remeron (mirtazapine). Best wishes.
