Hoarseness: When you are hoarse for 2 weeks or more, we certainly recommend a good laryngeal exam with fiberoptic laryngoscopy or videostroboscopy. It's common to have laryngitis from a cold, allergies, or acid reflux, but you definitely need to get checked to make sure there is nothing more serious going on.
