Singer's nodule: You might have problem with vocal cord....nodule. That causes hoarseness. damage to cord a more rarer disease, nerve damage can cause it. See a ENT doctor for evaluation...

Medicine: Who diagnosed the laryngitis? If you have mucous, you likely need an antibiotic and will need to be seen by a provider. In the meantime hot teas with honey can be very soothing for hoarse, sore throats. Logenzes are also helpful.
