PCP...take a look...: 36 y/o says My son woke up with very raspy, horse throat. He doesn't have coughing or anything but a slightly sore throat. Is this laryngitis. The child's age is not stated but Strep Throat, is a more concerning issue in children, than simple laryngitis. Best to see PCP or Pediatrician to take a look at the throat - cough or no cough and threat as appropriate.
