Mirena (levonorgestrel): Mirena (levonorgestrel) can decreased blood flow, decrease pain during menstruation, decrease incidence of endometrial cancer ( uterus), can be used for management of cancerous conditions etc. Side effects can be increased weight, acne, uterine cramps, abnormal menstruation, etc. It has many pros and many cons depending on how you look at it.
