Just answered: I don't know why my advise are now not registering. Your doctor can decide if Colchicine is your mainstay of treatment of for attacks of gout. Dose and dosing is determined by your attack, your symptoms and kidney function and of course, side effect. 3 times a week though is a little odd dosing schedule. Talk to your doctor.

Colchicine dosage: First i hope you are not self medicating, and that you have a prescription, whereas dosage and adminstration instructions should have already been given. It is not clear what exactly you are taking it for and at what dosage you have. I would therefore consult with the prescriber so you are clear.
