Yes - you need care: Colchicine is used to treat acute gout attacks and to prevent them. Uncertain about how the 3 month timetable affects you since it depends on what it is being used for in you. There are a variety of other conditions rheumatologists use Colchicine for but after the fda allowed url to increase the price (fda does not control price, but!) it is now less useful since this can be cost prohibitive.
