Popping hip: Arthritis, tight ligaments, muscle spasms, piriformis syndrome - most common. Or sciatica. Sciatica usually runs pain down the back of the leg. The inner thigh usually a nerve - obturator nerve - gets pinched and radiates symptoms down the inside of the thigh. Go see an orthopedic surgeon.
