I have bemused taking elavil (amitriptyline) since tuesday. one at bed. i feel like my hips hurt and t is making my joints hurts. is this possible or unrelated ?

In reviewing : Potential side effects for elavil, (amitriptyline) did not note joint pain specifically. However muscle aches, stiffness and weakness have been reported. In many people Elavil (amitriptyline) helps to improve pain. Would encourage you to discuss this with your physician. Take care.
