Distinct: Patiens often present with both conditions. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a nerve compression leading to numbness and/or tingling in the fingers and potential hand weakness. Tendonitis symptoms will vary depending on where. In the finger (i.E trigger finger) there may be painful snapping and even locking of the finger. Wrist tendonitis presents mainly with pain exacerbated with certain motions.
