not directly: Not directly, but the problem that causes carpal tunnel can also cause tendonitis.

Possibly: You don't directly get tendonitis from carpal tunnel syndrome but there is an increased chance of developing a condition called trigger finger after carpal tunnel syndrome or after carpal tunnel surgery. I would recommend an evaluation by a hand surgeon.
