See below: If ferritin and iron binding capacity are normal then iron deficiency is unlikely and you would not have symptoms.

If the total red: Blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit are normal, a low iron count with normal ferritin should not cause any major problem. Get reassurance from your pcp or hematologist. Take care!
