A member asked:

I am concerned about a clot in the lungs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pulmonary embolism: 'clots' in the lungs are often called 'thromboemboli'. While clots can form in the lungs themselves, it is more common for emboli to be derived from peripheral veins (like the legs / pelvis) and break free to travel to the lungs. One symptom is shortness of breath. If you are concerned about this, please visit with a physician and have appropriate exam and testing.
