Live: There are 2 types of vaccines, live and dead. Live vaccines are made of strains that cannot cause real disease, but produce an immune response by causing a mild infection. Most vaccines are not live, but are made of carefully selected parts of specific germs. Those parts are dead, but still trigger an immune response that prevents disease from that germ.

Live Vaccines: Active Vaccines are live virus vaccines where the virus has been attenuated(weakened) and if injected in humans provides the antibody and not the disease.Those are the active vaccines compared to dead organism vaccine which also produces antibodies Examples of live(active)vaccines are oral polio,nasal flu vaccine,varicella vaccine
