Various Causes: Rash or hives limited to the area of the palms of hands could be secondary to an allergic contact dermatitis vs. an irritant dermatitis. Pressure as well as heat or cold exposure could also cause localized hives limited to palms if you work with hands frequently or have frequent temperature exposures throughout the day. Try OTC antihistamines to see if you symptoms improve. See Allergist.
