A member asked:

Is it okay that i take anti-depressants?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antidepressants: As long as the antidepressant is being prescribed for a legitimate use by a licensed physician and you do not have a personal or family history of bipolar disorder then it is unlikely that the antidepressant would cost you any undue harm. However, the profiles of the various antidepressants are considerably different from each other and it is important that you understand what side effects are before starting on the medication. Best wishes.
