Yes! : There is increasing good evidence based research on alternatives to anti-depressants. The first is psychotherapy. Therapy has been demonstrated to help depression but also the therapist can help sort through options. Here are some other treatments with some evidence behind them: 1) aerobic exercise--after ok by their md 2) omega 3 supplemnets 3) vitamin d 4) deplin 5) st john's wort.
