TUBERCULOSIS......: Exposure to a patient with tuberculosis, positive tuberculin (PPD) test, positive chest x-ray, symptoms, e.g. Fever, sweating, cough, loss of appetite, weight loss, etc are diagnostic of tb. Typical symptoms may not be present always. This is a curable disease without permanent damage mostly. Treatment is combination of 3-4 drugs for 6-9 months. See the specialist and start rx asap. Good luck.
