My son recently got treated for an ear infection but i'm noticing he's still pulling and playing with his ear could it still be infected?

Yes: Ear infections don't always clear with one course of antibiotics. He may need to see the pediatrician for an ear recheck to see if the infection cleared.

Persistent fluid : If your child is afebrile and playful, he is very likely to have a persistent middle ear effusion. This type of residual fluid in the middle ear can persist for 4-6 weeks.
