Tuberculin: When tuberculin test (PPD) becomes positive- about 10 mm or more, chest x-ray is done to rule out possible lung infection or lymph nodes. A course of Isoniazid and pyrodoxine is given for 6-9 months. The PPD can remain positive for many years even after treatment.
