Two causes..: First is that the tear drainage system may be blocked. The only way to fix this is to see you eye doctor. Second, the surface of your eye may be irritated. This sends a signal to the brain that your eye needs more tears. Putting lubricating eye drops in the eyes will slow down the watering.
