Nickel allergy: You may have a nickel allergy - and you might want to try PURE gold, not 14K but the real stuff. Sometimes you need to go to an Indian jeweler for that. I'm suspicious because you don't report any signs of redness, pain or hardness (induration) which might be more indicative of an infection. Alot of the JCPenny type earrings aren't pure gold, so you may have an allergy. Gold is totally inert.
