Why: This is a popular notion among alternative practitioners but it is based upon feelings but no scientific evidence. It probably will do not harm but there is not basis for a positive effect except on the bank account of those who advocate this procedure.

Many approaches: Everyone has hundreds of toxins in them ; millions have benefited from internal cleanses. Research shows that a careful cleanse reduces many chronic symptoms ; improves liver function. A good cleanse involves eating a hypoallergenic diet rich in organic fruits ; vegies, lots of water, fiber ; supplements/herbs to support detox. Such a program is perfectly safe.
