Appearance: Can be differentiated by appearance. Hives: flat, raised, and consistently changing location in unpredictable pattern. Respond to antihistamine (if not, allergist can help) Heat rash (miliaria) caused by skin irritation when sweat pores are blocked. Papular (more brail-like) sometimes with blistering, goosebumps, or pustules and more diffuse redness. Anhydrous lanolin helps (and keeping cool)
