Start with your family doctor.: Please see your family doctor for a full physical to rule out any physical cause of your depression. Your family doctor can refer you to psychiatrist and or a psychologist depending upon the circumstances. Depression is quite treatable. Make sure you are in involved in psychotherapy as it improves the outcome. Best wishes.
