Nighttime depression: There can be many reasons why depression is worse at night, eg., timing of medication, insomnia, heightened anxiety, your natural circadian (hormonal) rhythm, being alone. Try to identify what's going on and discuss with treating doctor. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
