Yes: Ok..So i think your confusing things a bit. The HIV test is an antibody test showing you have been exposed to the human immunodeficiency virus. Aids is the point where your immune systems CD4 blood cells drop below 14%. At this point opportunistic infections happen. So to answer the question..Yes..If you have full blown disease the HIV test will be positive.
