Yes: If you are only mildly allergic to milk, you may be able to get away with traces of it. If you are moderately to highly allergic, avoidance is the key. Do note that more than 1/2 of the milk-allergic people can tolerate milk which has been cooked or baked. If you are one of these people, then regular intake of cooked milk product may potentially make you tolerant to the raw product later.
