Why ?: I would never investigate a kid for soy allergy unless there were a problem. If the issue came up on a blood test, and reflected only IgG antibodies, it is not worth worrying about.If the kid had high IgE to soy it would be a problem & would also produce reactions. Skin tests are not always predictive of actual clinical importance. Kids don't need milk anyway, they can get calcium from supplements
