I would consult with: Your physician. Don't know what you are taking as sleeping medication currently. There a number of prescription medications which can help with sleep. Prazosin in used off label for both insomnia ; nightmares. Are you stress or is something specific upsetting you? If so consider working with a therapist. Ways to address stress. Talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5.
