Turmeric ; Asthma: Turmeric has many applications, and can be a good anti-inflammatory agent. However, asthma is not one of these uses. If you're looking for herbal assistance, boswellia and butterbur have been used more for this condition. If your cold has "settled in lungs" though, it's important to make sure you don't have bronchitis or pneumonia -- meaning you need to see your physician for an exam.
