Indoor allergies: Sneezing at night or upon awakening is frequently the result of indoor allergies such as dust mite, animal dander, feather or even indoor mold. An allergist can assist in identifying the trigger so avoidance measures can be performed. Medication treatment can include antihistamines, nasal corticosteroid sprays (nasacort (triamcinolone) for example) and even allergy injections. Check with your allergist.
