Possibly: Often asthma is brought on by inhaling "particulates". These are particles like dust, powder, and definitely tobacco smoke. Though 1 cigarette/month does seem like nothing, we all know that nicotine is as addictive a drug as any illegal drug you can think of. The one turns into two which turns into three and so on. If its only one/month, why not give it up altogether? Good luck.
