Absolutely: Often, the triggers for asthma attacks are right in your bedroom. Dust mites, animal dander (if you own a cat or dog), etc. You may try a few tricks- remove rugs, encase mattress in a plastic dust mite proof cover, don't allow your pets in bedroom. Use an air purifier. These have been shown to help many people with your type of attacks. Good luck.

Yes: The lung function reaches its lowest trough at about 4 .Am. And thus one's is more likely to have an asthma attack at around that time if the asthma is uncontrolled. As mentioned by other commentators, allergen triggers such as dust mite droppings, molds, and animal dander may also play a part.
