Get tested: Celiac disease would trigger tissue transaminases that can be found on blood tests. If you have your primary doc order a celiac panel, it can see if there is evidence of these markers. If worrisome, a workup and biopsy though a gastroenterologist can confirm it. You must be consuming gluten for the testing to be accurate. The equivalent to a slice of bread daily for 3 wks is enough.
