Consultation: How do you know you have a deviated septum? If you were told by your physician - ask his/her opinion. If not, see an ENT or plastic surgeon.

Deviated septum: A deviated septum can be corrected surgically to bring the septum to the midline. If there are symptoms like nasal obstruction, snoring or recurrent sinusitis, have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.

See an ENT: A deviated septum only needs to be fixed if it is causing significant symptoms, typically nasal obstruction. Obviously, the term "signficant symptoms" is subjective and worth discussing with an ENT physician.
