Yes, but...: My very close friend in the military stated that you should not have any dental problem that may interfere with you having to perform your duty. They would like for you to go through a dental clearance, whereas the dentist will perform an exam and treat all foreseeable dental problem such as cavities before you reported. The army will accept you (and every body else :)).
