Part of Rx: Teeth sometimes get sore when they are moved. If they are in hyperfunction, banging into each other, they can get sore. If you have a cavity or gum disease teen can become sore. Please see your orthodontic specialist. If necessary he/she will refer you to your family dentist for specific treatment to help resolve your problem. Orthodontist will also teach you how to keep teeth calm during rx.
